In our design and product development studios we create stationery, home and gift products that are found in leading retailers all over the world. It’s truly “all about the art”, with our more than 50 in house artists.

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team. Ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that hardware and software essential to our business operates efficiently and optimally for our current environment. In addition, candidate will lead in researching, proposing and planning projects that will assure up-to-date technology and procedures within department budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, as well as conveying job expectations and evaluating performance
  • Architect direction for the IT department, including policy, procedures, projects
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate IT systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the Company functional in the event of a crisis
  • Management of 48+ TB of data
  • Operate in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy and Company objectives
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Assist and analyze in non-IT related problems
  • Work in partnership with department heads to achieve Company goals and determine the maintenance and growth needs
  • Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs
  • Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter
  • Determine the rationale and methods for upgrading Company network software programs each time an update is released

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced in EDI, reporting and programming
  • Ability to manage, lead and inspire personnel
  • Proven working experience as an IT manager, or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems. Virtual and physical
  • Expertise in data management and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Strong understanding of data and network security
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
